When is a stool not a stool? When it’s a piece by Phillipe Starck, an innovative designer, much admired and copied. Think Ikea and their version of his Ghost Chair – yep he designed the originals that sell for astronomical amounts. He is a man of many talents, architecture, technology, yachts, yes I said yachts.. and of course furniture. He’s worked with the greats and is world renowned!
So, imagine my joy at finding a genuine Starck stool, and in a rare yellow shade too! It’s based on his Kartell collection and is see through. He seems to like see through stuff does Phil. It’s shaped like a Greek urn. Some call it a stool, some call it a side table. I’ll leave it up to you! But it’s for sale on my eBay store and it’s a rare piece so if you fancy plonking your derrière on something funky – go grab it cowboy!
