Don’t know if you know that I’m also a medium? Bit of a change in direction I know but life is one rich tapestry and this is the direction it’s taken after a fraught few years and needing a new direction. I’ve not given up my spiritual side and my dream is a little shop somewhere, where all my lovely stuff can be displayed and I can do the odd reading again. In a little back room, all cosy. I can picture it now. But I digress, I have always “felt” items. Anything with a bit of history, it’ll “ping” out to me – I end up buying things I had no intention of just because I get the feel, when I touch them. They vibrate with energy to me because everything has energy be it living or not. We leave traces of ourselves, not just finger prints but our essence (that sounds wrong I know 😬) yet we do, inanimate objects build up their own energy, being around highly charged situations. Especially battles, voyages, adventuring, tribal, medical. Anything with a bit of drama attached, well it’ll leave it’s mark. Then somebody like me happens along, and feels all that trauma, excitement, pain, whatever strong emotion that’s attached to it.
Of course not everyone believes in this and I’m not here to convince you of my beliefs but for me, it’s a strange sensation to hold a vase, and feel it’s history. It doesn’t happen with every old item but it does happen and quite a lot. My hubby is used to my pings now lol. And obviously, the other energy that can attach itself to an item is spiritual, ie a person long departed. Mirrors are portals to the other side so be careful what you buy and where from, if it’s not new 😀 I’m always careful with my mirror buying, so you’re guaranteed none of mine will be haunted lol. The dragon napkin rings in the photo – wow they sang out to, not just me, but my hubby too. What a tale they could tell. Chinese dragons – duelling dragons, the inner fight right over wrong, dark versus light. I had to buy them. Whoever buys them off my eBay store will get a little bit of magic with those… 🦚
Hi, we met as we were entering the Palace at Buxton, I remarked on how lovely you looked. My name is Dee and now I know why I was drawn to your light, I too am a medium. It was lovely to connect for that moment. Much love light, and I feel also healing, to you. We are all in need of a little of that!!! Warm hugs, D
It’s fascinating how objects can carry so much history and energy, isn’t it? The way you describe feeling the vibrations and emotions tied to them is truly intriguing. Your dream of having a cozy little shop sounds like a beautiful vision, where your unique connection to these items can shine. I wonder, though, how do you manage the emotional weight that comes with sensing the past so intensely? And have you ever encountered an object whose story was too overwhelming to keep?
