I don\u2019t have a buying \u201ctheme\u201d as such – well besides my beloved peacocks of course! No, I just buy what interests me. Take this helmet, for example. It\u2019s a Jofa ice hockey helmet and it looks circa 1980\u2019s but don\u2019t quote me on that lol. I bought it because it\u2019s so retro, it sparked my interest. Call me nostalgic but it took me back to my glory years of chopper bikes, and skateboards and the hot city streets of my childhood, in Manchester. It\u2019s got a skateboard sticker on this very helmet, so somebody used it for that also, how exciting, what a journey it\u2019s been on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Think Rob Lowe, Patrick Swayze and Keane Reeves in Youngblood, before they dirty danced and Bill and Ted\u2019d and St Elmo Fired. Apparently this film was an Ice hockey drama, at its finest!
